Why the Ukulele?
Kala, one of the leading ukulele brands worldwide, has seen a sales leap of 70% in the past few years. The ukulele can be described as an inspirational instrument capable of cheering most anyone up. It’s small size makes it incredibly portable and versatile. The baritone uke shares the same tuning as the top four strings of a guitar, and with nylon strings it’s simple to play. You can also find reasonably priced ukes that wont set you back!
Workshops
Come to The San Diego Ukulele Festival and learn how to play the Ukulele! We offer workshops at the festival that vary from introduction to the uke to advance uke. Dont have a ukulele? No worries, we have ukuleles that workshop participants can borrow in order to participate.
