2015 will be the 4^th year for Xceptional Music producing the SD Uke fest. This will be our 2^nd year at the new facilities on the campus of Cal State San Marcos located just off the 78 freeway North County San Diego. The campus is the perfect venue for the festival. We were able to arrange close proximity parking, use of indoor classrooms, the entire top lawn, as well as the newly designed amphitheater.

The festival features a dynamic mix of live performances, vendor experiences, and workshops. There is something for everyone from those who have never touched a ukulele to the seasoned veteran. Venue opens at 10:30am with the 1^st performance and workshop starting at 11:00am. Workshops are designed for all skill levels with multiple classes happening each hour. Performances start in the newly built amphitheater and run through the afternoon. This year to complement the amphitheater stage, we will be featuring another stage on the upper lawn. The lawn stage will be referred to as the SPF Stage (Summer Paradise Festival).

Be prepared to expect a wide variety of musical styles and experiences. The amphitheater stage will feature traditional ukulele styles while the SPF Stage will showcase artists that integrate a wide variety of musical styles. The goal in 2015 is to expand beyond the stereotypical ukulele perception. This festival knows no boundaries and is designed to appeal to all demographics, age groups, and music enthusiasts.

Along with the performances and workshops we will be featuring experiences, vendors, food, and a few surprises along the way!
